Total landed costLast Updated: November 22, 2019
What makes up a total landed cost?
Decoding landed cost
Landed cost is the total price of shipping a product internationally. The landed cost calculations include the sum of duties, taxes, and additional fees from customs, brokers, or the carrier.
Zonos uses the HS code to calculate a landed cost if it is passed using an API. A default country of origin and harmonized code can be set to help with the calculations.
You can set these by going to the Landed cost settings.
You also have the ability to include a buffer (either percent or flat rate) that will be included in the duty and tax quote, so you can pass the Zonos transaction fee onto the customer as well.
