How do I set up Zonos Payments?

Learn how to get Zonos Payments set up with International Checkout.

If you’ve signed up for International Checkout and are ready to get your payments configured, follow the steps below.

Step 1 - Sign up for Stripe Connect

Step 2 - Provide your business information

  • Stripe will ask you for your business address, phone, website, EIN, and industry.

IMPORTANT- The company information must match what is on file with your bank account.

Step 3 - Add your personal information

To complete Stripe’s personal information page, you need to be authorized to sign on your company’s behalf.

  • You will need to enter your legal name, birthday, home address, phone, and social security number.
  • Check the box if you own 25% or more of the company.
  • Once Stripe verifies your information, you will see a confirmation page. Click Done.

Step 4 - You did it! Way to go!

  • After you’ve successfully gone through the Stripe validation process, you will be taken back to the Settings page in Dashboard.
  • Under Zonos Payments, you will initially see “verification pending” as the status. Check back here later to see when your status is confirmed to “Zonos Payments Active”.

Why am I required to provide my personal information, e.g. date of birth and SSN?

Stripe requires this information as part of their mandatory identification requirement due to policies instituted by their financial partners and regulators.
