Create shipping zones in Zonos Dashboard

Add a shipping zone to set up shipping for a chosen set of countries.

  1. Log in to Dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings on the left sidebar.
  3. Select Shipping rates.
  4. Click on Create shipping zone.
  5. Enter a zone name. This will not be visible to customers.
  6. If you ship from multiple locations, choose the shipping warehouse location this zone will fulfill shipments from.
  7. Landed cost (duties, taxes, and fees), by default, will be included in the calculations for each zone created.
    • You can choose to have the landed cost quotes set to estimate only by deselecting the Landed cost enabled for this zone box. This means your customers will not be able to prepay duties and taxes.
    • If this is not selected, you will not be able to collect duties and taxes from your customers. Zonos will only show an estimated landed cost amount that will likely be due to your customer upon delivery.
  8. Choose the countries you want to enable for this zone.
    • If you want all countries included in the zone, select the Rest of world checkbox under the search bar.
    • A country can only be added to one zone. The country will be grayed out if it is being used in another zone or if it is not supported by Zonos.
  9. Next, choose the service levels you want to be displayed or create a rule for the zone.

You must have a service level enabled or a custom shipping option created with a new rule in order to save the zone. There will be no service levels to enable if you do not have a carrier enabled or a custom service level created.

10. When you are done, click Save.
